A spectacular $17.5 million Performing Arts Center was completed and formally opened in November 2010. The center enriches the campus' academic and cultural programs, community cultural organizations and economic development of the Tuscarawas Valley. The center features an 1,100-seat theatre, classrooms, rehearsal rooms and conference areas. The theatre is a premiere venue for traveling Broadway shows, concerts, lectures and other types of entertainment.
The Tolloty Technology Incubator is the gateway to the Tuscarawas Regional Technology Park. It is a state-of-the-art science, technology, research and development facility. It was developed to cultivate and nurture technology-based entrepreneurship and stimulate the regional economy through new business development, business expansion and the creation of high-tech, high-skill jobs. It also provides academic opportunities for students through co-ops and internships, as well as serving as a forum for students to investigate and launch their own enterprises.
Committed to workforce and economic development of the community, the Office of Business and Community Services provides valuable programs and services to the community through open enrollment programs, customized training and consulting services. A variety of open enrollment non-credit workshops are offered on a broad range of topics, such as Lean Six Sigma, supervisory management, customer service, computer applications, OSHA, ISO training, sales and more.
The Small Business Development Center provides consulting, networking and training services to operational and start-up businesses in Tuscarawas, Coshocton, Harrison, Holmes and Carroll counties. Assistance is also available with community demographics, economic development activities, technology resources and other business development activities.
