ACT scores are required for applicants who will be under 21 years old at the time of first enrollment and have no transfer credit. Scores are also required for all Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) applicants as well. Please note, Kent State Tuscarawas does not require the optional writing portion of the ACT for traditional or PSEO applicants.
There are two options for taking the ACT test:
National ACT test dates
Visit the ACT website at www.act.org to learn about upcoming test dates, registration deadlines and testing locations. You can register online for the national test administration. Scores earned from these test administrations can be reported to any college(s) you choose.
The Residual ACT is offered by individual universities as a service to prospective students who are unable to take the test on the national ACT test dates. Kent State University administers the Residual ACT once or twice each month at the Michael Schwartz Center, room 261 on the Kent Campus or at 40 Campus Center on the Stark Campus. Your Residual ACT score can be reported only to a Kent State University campus.
