International applicants are citizens of foreign countries who wish to enter the University as undergraduates. International applicants should allow six months from the date of initial correspondence to the beginning of classes to complete the application process.
All international students wishing to attend Kent State University at Tuscarawas must apply and be admitted through the Office of Admissions on the Kent Campus, 330-672-2444.
All enrolled international students must apply and pay for the student group accident and health insurance policy provided by the University.
The Office of International Student Affairs provides pre-arrival information, an orientation session and assistance with Immigration and Naturalization Service requirements for all international students admitted to Kent State University.

$40 nonrefundable application fee
Official (either issued or attested to by the institution attended) transcripts and/or certificates of educational training from all institutions attended
NOTE: Translations may be required for records in a language other than English
Evidence of English language proficiency as described in the application for admission
- Affidavit of support accompanied by a financial statement
