ABOUT THE POST-SECONDARY ENROLLMENT OPTIONS PROGRAM
The Post Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) program is designed to provide qualified high school students access to college-level coursework. College courses taken under the program may also fulfill high school graduation requirements, if approved by the student's high school.
ABOUT DUAL CREDIT PROGRAMS
Some high schools may make this option available to their students. Through collaboration with area universities and colleges, college-level courses are taught on-site at the high school by a teacher who possesses the same academic credentials as an adjunct professor teaching at a college campus. Interested students should inquire with their guidance office to see if this option is available at their high school. Deadlines and procedures for this option may be different from Kent State Tuscarawas' PSEO application deadline and procedure. Check with your high school guidance office.
Students seeking admission to the Kent State University at Tuscarawas PSEO or Dual Credit programs should generally meet or exceed the following:
The application deadline is May 1 annually, however interested students are encouraged to discuss post secondary options with their high school in February or March.
Post Secondary and Dual Credit applicants must submit the following:
Senate Bill 140 provides for payment of courses taken by students enrolled under Post Secondary Enrollment Option B. For more information, contact the Office of Admissions by phone at 330-339-3391 or by email at info@tusc.kent.edu.
