Artist Lecture Series

The Artist/Lecture Series at Kent State Tuscarawas offers five to seven events each academic year. All events are offered free of charge to students and the public. Throughout the year, these programs offer enrichment, education and entertainment, including some of the finest speakers and performers from the fields of art, music, theatre and the humanities.Guest lecturers address important and varied topics that include literature, social action, education and diversity.

Events begin at 7 p.m. in Founders Hall Auditorium, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.

September 10, 2013 – The Constitution and American Unity, a Constitution Day Program Presented by Dr. Todd Hartline

Oct. 14, 2013 -  One Book One Community – The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio

Nov. 7, 2013  - Rock and Roll Hall of Fame  - Presentation on the Rolling Stones

Feb. 12, 2014 – Guest Faculty Recital featuring Sebastian Birch, piano; and Alissa Shuster, flute; with Brian Bennett, drums; and Daniel Nass, bass. 

March 18, 2014  - Motherhood Memoirs: Mothers Creating/Writing Lives, Presented by Dr. Nicole Willey and Dr. Justine Dymond
