Applying for Aid
It is important to apply for financial aid and scholarships each academic year.
Follow these simple steps to apply for financial assistance:
1. Gather your income information from the previous calendar year. It is best if you have tax returns from the previous calendar year but estimates are also acceptable.
2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible after January 1st each calendar year.
- The FAFSA from should be submitted online at www.fafsa.gov. In order to have the information sent to Kent State at Tuscarawas use the school code 003062.
- If you need assistance in completing the FAFSA, please contact our financial aid office at 330-339-3391 to learn more about our FAFSA workshops.
If you plan to attend during the summer and would like to use financial aid to cover your tuition, you must complete the Summer Financial Aid Request Form.
