Scholarships

Kent State Tuscarawas has more than 70 scholarships to award each year to deserving students.  Although there are a variety of scholarships, each with unique criteria, you will only need to complete on application to be considered for all of our campus-based scholarships.

 

All incoming freshman who have completed their admissions application by March 1 will be considered in our priority pool for scholarship awarding for the following academic year based on their academic record. Incoming freshman applicants who complete after March 1 will be considered on a rolling basis for remaining awards. There is no scholarship application required for incoming freshman students.

Returning students must submit a scholarship application no later than May 1 to be considered for scholarships for the following academic year. 

 

 

Scholarship applications are also available in the front office of Founders Hall.  You may also send a request via email to cwalke5@kent.edu to have one mailed to you.  The deadline for all Scholarship Application materials is May 1 for returning students. Late applications will be accepted, but priority will be given to on-time applicants.

 

There are many excellent search engines for scholarships from outside organizations.  Please be aware that you should never pay anyone to find scholarship information for you.  This is a sign of a scam.
