As part of the initial stages in the development of the Tuscarawas Regional Technology Park, the Tuscarawas County Community Improvement Corporation (CIC), in collaboration with Kent State University at Tuscarawas and the Ohio Small Business Development Center (OSBDC), has established the Tuscarawas Regional Technology Accelerator.  Located at Kent State University at Tuscarawas, the Accelerator fosters the growth of new and existing technology companies in Eastern Ohio by connecting them to many state and national organizations who have become resource partners.  For more information or to schedule an appointment call us at 330.308.7521.


The CIC advances, encourages and promotes the industrial, economic, commercial and civic development of Tuscarawas County.  In operation for more than 45 years, it is composed of volunteer trustees who are a representation of business and professional leaders in the county along with mayors and county commissioners


Kent State University at Tuscarawas enhances the quality and scope of educational opportunities in the region and serves as a catalyst for regional economic growth.  The Office of Business and Community Services is a comprehensive resource for workforce development, customized training and consulting services for business and industry. 


The OSBDC at Kent State at Tuscarawas provides vital services to new and existing businesses on a daily basis, including individualized counseling for business planning, business management, financial planning and other core services.
