Accelerated Green Belt Certification Offered at Kent State Tuscarawas

The Kent State University Tuscarawas Office of Continuing Studies and Community Development is offering an accelerated Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training and Certification course beginning in June. Lean Six Sigma utilizes continuous improvement principles to achieve the fastest rate of improvement in customer satisfaction, cost, quality, process speed and sustained competitiveness.
Assistance in payment of the training is available for those who qualify by the Employment Source of Stark and Tuscarawas Counties. Deadline to apply for funds is April 5. Key candidates for Lean Six Sigma training and certification are individuals seeking to enhance their skills for new or existing positions as quality managers, directors and managers of engineering, operation managers, plant managers, vice presidents of manufacturing, presidents, chief executive officers, chief financial officers, technicians and supervisors. Organizations in the manufacturing, health care and service-based industries, as well as in higher education can benefit from employees attending this program.
