DEADLINE EXTENDED: Call for Papers/Posters, Information & Religion 2014 Conference

The Center for the Study of Information and Religion (CSIR) in the School of Library and Information Science at Kent State University will host its fourth annual conference on June 5 & 6, 2014, at the university.

The theme for the 2014 conference is "Information Management in Religious Organizations." Keynote speaker will be Kenneth Inskeep, Ph.D., director, Research and Evaluation, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and co-author of Chasing Down a Rumor: The Death of Mainline Denominations.

CSIR invites scholars and students to submit paper and poster abstracts that align with the chosen theme and represent original contributions exploring the intersections of religion and information. The deadline for abstract submission has been extended to Jan. 15, 2014.
