Student Great Idea Contest Offered by Kent State Tuscarawas
Posted Jan. 4, 2013For the second consecutive year, Kent State University at Tuscarawas is sponsoring a Student Great Idea Contest to encourage young entrepreneurship. The contest is designed for Tuscarawas County students in middle school (5-8 grades), high school and college who have an idea, invention or innovation they would like to sell, turn into a business or develop into a prototype.
There is no cost to enter the contest. Awards include i-Tunes gift cards and Apple i-Pad3s. Winners will be eligible to shadow an area entrepreneur for a day. All contestants will be eligible to attend entrepreneurship workshops at Kent State Tuscarawas during Fall Semester 2013.
The contest entry deadline is Feb. 1, with winners being notified in April. Student Great Idea Contest applications are available online at www.tusc.kent.edu/businesscommunityservices/smallbusiness/index.cfm
