Cyber Clubs Partner with Kent State Tuscarawas for Trip

Participants of Kent State University at Tuscarawas and seven area high school Cyber Clubs toured Boston, Mass. from March 18-21. The group was sponsored by the Kent State University at Tuscarawas Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development (WIRED) grant. The participating Cyber Club high schools are Claymont, Dover, Indian Valley, Tuscarawas Valley, New Philadelphia, Carrollton and Strasburg.

Sixty-eight students and advisors had the opportunity to visit MIT's robotics manned vehicle lab and wind tunnel. They also toured various Boston attractions, including New England Aquarium, Museum of Fine Arts, Museum of Science, Skywalk Observatory, Harvard Museum of Natural History and the JFK Presidential Library and Museum. In addition, the group also attended the IEEE 3D User Interface Conference.
