The world's premiere musical improvisation theater, Baby Wants Candy is coming to the Performing Arts Center at Kent State University at Tuscarawas on April 11 at 7:30 p.m.
Baby Wants Candy - The Completely Improvised Musical has entered its 10th year of shows in Chicago. Baby Wants Candy asks the audience for a suggestion of a musical that has never been performed before. The first title the actors hear then becomes the basis and title for that 60 minute one-act musical. Using this format, Baby Wants Candy has performed more than 1,400 different musicals.
Founded in Chicago, Baby Wants Candy has performed completely improvised musicals to sold-out crowds from Singapore to Edinburgh. Currently, Baby Wants Candy not only tours the globe, but also maintains shows in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles.
Tickets for Baby Wants Candy range from $13-$18 and can be purchased now at the Performing Arts Center box office, online at www.tusc.kent.edu/pac or by calling 330-308-6400. The box office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Free parking is available for all shows. The Performing Arts Center at Kent State Tuscarawas is located at 330 University Dr. NE, New Philadelphia.
