Kent State Tuscarawas to Offer Management Leadership Conference
Posted Feb. 1, 2011TechSolve and the Small Business Development Center at Kent State University at Tuscarawas are offering a Management Leadership video conference "Innovating for the Upturn" at 8 a.m. on February 10. Presenter Jim Carroll will address the new realities in today's market and provide guidance on the culture, strategy and business issues that organizations must address in order to thrive. He will also provide key tips on how to motivate employees to adapt to new ways of working, new business models, competitive challenges and other aspects that can occur with a changing environment.
Globally recognized for his unique wisdom and insight into trends, Carroll has helped companies such as Toshiba, Caterpillar and the Walt Disney Corporation focus on innovation and align their strategies to fast-paced future trends. Carroll is the author of Ready, Set, Done: How to Innovate When Faster is the New Fast and What I Learned From Frogs in Texas: Saving Your Skin with Forward Thinking Innovation.
This free video conference will be held from 8 -11 a.m. at Kent State Tuscarawas in the Science and Advanced Technology Center at 330 University Drive N.E. in New Philadelphia. Advanced registration is required and can be done online at www.techsolve.org/events
