Judge Roger Lile to Present Constitution Day Program

Judge Roger Lile will present Taxes and Oysters: Evolution of the United States Constitution at Kent State University at Tuscarawas on Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. in the Founders Hall auditorium.  This Artist/Lecture Series event is free and open to the public with no tickets required. The auditorium doors open at 6:30 p.m. with seating available on a first come, first served basis.

Lile is presenting the program in recognition of Constitution Day.  He served as Judge of the Court of Common Pleas Tuscarawas County from 1981 to 1998.

A native of New Philadelphia, Lile graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law with a Juris Doctor in 1970 and from Western Reserve University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history in 1966. He also served in the United States Army as a Special Agent, 109th Army Intelligence Group.

An active community member, Lile is a member of the Tuscarawas County University District Board of Trustees, Tuscarawas County University Foundation Board of Directors and the

New Philadelphia City Schools Quaker Foundation Board of Directors.
