Performing Arts Center Membership ProgramPosted Apr. 18, 2012
Community members now have an additional opportunity to show their support for the Performing Arts Center at Kent State Tuscarawas with today's launch of the new Performing Arts Center Membership Recognition Program.
"Six levels of membership, ranging from $30 to $1500, have been created with each level offering various benefits to the member," said Dr. Gregg L. Andrews, Dean and Chief Administrative Officer of Kent State University at Tuscarawas. "The levels have been developed to accommodate affordability for Students, Friends, Patron, Sustaining Patrons, Dean's Circle and Corporate Partners. A portion of every membership is a donation to the Performing Arts Center Endowment, which is tax-deductible."
According to General Manager Mike Morelli, the recognition program was developed as a result of numerous inquiries from existing guests who want to demonstrate their support for the Performing Arts Center beyond simply purchasing tickets.
"The Membership Recognition Program will also acknowledge and benefit individuals, families and businesses who are season to season ticket buyers," added Morelli. "One of the best member benefits is the ability to purchase tickets via presale opportunities at the beginning of each season and throughout the year as Performing Arts Center events are added to the schedule."
Memberships last 12 months and include a Membership Card, promotional items and entry into a Meet and Greet Lottery.
"I am particularly excited about the Meet and Greet Lottery," commented Tom Flood, box office manager. "For each show with a Meet and Greet, we will identify all of the members who have purchased tickets and then randomly select two to four of them to be invited backstage. Until now, the only way to take part in such an event was to be a guest of a corporate sponsor."
Student level members will be entered into free ticket giveaways, receive a Performing Arts Center t-shirt and be able to purchase up to two $10 balcony tickets to each Performing Arts Center series event (a limited number of tickets for each event will be made available to Student Members for purchase at $10 each. Once this allotment has been exhausted, tickets will be available at regular price).
Benefits at the Friend level include a Performing Arts Center t-shirt, advance notice of new events, exclusive event pre-sales and a listing on the Performing Arts Center membership Web page.
Patron level memberships receive all of the Friend level benefits plus one invitation to the Season Unveiling and a listing in the playbill when applicable.
Sustaining Patrons receive all of the Patron level benefits plus a total of two complimentary guest passes to a Performing Arts Center season series event, two invitations to the Season Unveiling and a Performing Arts Center polo shirt instead of a t-shirt.
Members at the Dean's Circle level will receive all of the Sustaining Patron level benefits plus dedicated concierge ticket service, a total of four complimentary guest passes to a Performing Arts Center season series event and four invitations to the Season Unveiling.
The Corporate Partner level offers a company listing on the Performing Arts Center membership Web page, a listing in the playbill when appropriate, a total of eight complimentary guest passes to a Performing Arts Center season series event, four invitations to the Season Unveiling, corporate ticket discounts for employees and use of the Performing Arts Center lobby for one corporate event per year.
