Romeo and Juliet Ballet
The epic that originated the term "star-crossed lovers," is performed as a ballet by The State Ballet Theatre of Russia, returning for their second consecutive season with us. The powerful emotions inherent in the source material are expressed not with Shakespearean prose, but with powerful choreography and striking movements.
The State Ballet Theatre of Russia has toured with productions of traditional Russian classics throughout France, (performing Sleeping Beauty in 38 cities), Germany, Holland and Czech Republic, as well as in India and throughout Africa with engagements in Tunisia, Zimbabwe, and Ethiopia.
