The Kent State University at Tuscarawas men's golf team is comprised of students enrolled at any of the campuses in the eight-campus Kent State University system for a minimum of six (6) credit-hours each semester. The Golden Eagles compete in spring season invitationals hosted by member schools from the Ohio Regional Campus Conference (ORCC), the two-day state tournament sponsored by the ORCC and the Golden Eagle Invitational held at their home course, Oak Shadows Golf Club, located in New Philadelphia, OH.
2012 marks the ninth year of competition for the Golden Eagles who have finished as high as fifth at the state tournament (2010). Kent State Tuscarawas hosted the final day of the ORCC State Tournament at River Greens Golf Course in West Lafayette, Ohio in 2006, and has placed in the the top five spots of many tournaments. Team tryouts are held in September each year to trim the roster to 10 golfers.
