Writing Center

Don't wait until it's too late! Visit the Writing Center as early as possible in your writing process to make the most of this valuable service! Dr. Chris Roman is coordinator of The Writing Center, which is open Monday through Thursday during Fall and Spring semesters. The Writing Center provides one-on-one consultations to help students with writing assignments and projects. They can help you: ·

- Choose a topic for your writing assignment or task · Brainstorm ideas for your assignment · Plan your writing and/or research ideas

- Organize your ideas and/or research · Develop your topic using relevant details, examples and other support

- Revise your draft, either before or after you receive an instructor's comments

· Learn correct documentation

A schedule of available hours is posted on the bulletin board outside the Office of Academic Services, Founders Hall A104. Students are encouraged to reserve an appointment time via a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board.
